Hi I'm Priya!
I am a 200 hr Registered Vinyasa Yoga Teacher - through Yoga Alliance.
As a teenager growing up in India, I was introduced to yoga by my mom who has been practicing yoga for more than 23 years. She has always inspired me to acquire a deeper knowledge of philosophy and to improve my practice of yoga.
I consider myself lucky to have this opportunity to learn yoga in a professional setting. It has helped me improve my personal physical fitness and mental well being. I am also excited to be able to share my knowledge and experience to benefit others.
Spreading the knowledge of yoga is more relevant today than ever before. Today’s health problems are mostly related to lifestyle - shorter attention spans, sedentary nature of modern office jobs, stress, long hours and inability to devote time towards health and fitness.
Yoga is something you can incorporate in your life - all you need is a quiet place, and a little bit of commitment and encouragement to keep going.
Through holistic yoga sessions that incorporate Vinyasa flow along with Pranayama and meditation, I will help you to be more aware of your body, mind and soul.
In addition to teaching yoga, I’m also a Japanese language teacher giving personal and online Japanese and English language lessons and in my leisure time I enjoy doing “Ikebana”, the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
